Hi! I'm Joseph Urquico, the team manager, or acting leader of Group 4. I don't wanna call myself "leader", though, because this website of ours is a team effort with everyone equally contributing, and not a "one-man-leads-all" activity. Within the span of two weeks, this site was materialized with everyone's contribution.
As a STEM student with a passion for science, I believe that one major reason why students struggle with science is the abundance of unfamiliar terms filling the subject. Studying science feels like reading a book in another language, and sadly, this is a problem I also experience.
When we were given the task of developing a website, I saw this as an opportunity to help my fellow students. With a shared vision of easing students' burdens, we developed the idea of Scienary, a glossary specialized in science. With more than 200 terms in our database, we hope that this website aid you in your STEM journey.
So, enjoy studying!
Wassup Brochacho! Aireen Louise here, your Editorial Manager! The person making sure every term, definition, and explanation in this glossary actually makes sense and doesn’t feel like it was copied straight out of a textbook from 1998. LOL.
As a STEM student, I’m no stranger to confusing terms and words that make you stop reading and go, “Huh? what does that even mean?” That’s exactly why this glossary exists! Our goal is to break down complex concepts into clear, understandable definitions, because learning shouldn’t feel like you're decoding a secret language. >v<
Think of this glossary as your quick save, your cheat sheet (but don't actually cheat bro...), and your “ohhh, so THAT’S what it means” moment.
So take your time, explore the terms, and don’t be scared of the big words! we’ve got you.
If it’s on the site, the vibe is right.
Hi bestie! I’m Sabrina Yvonne, your Website Manager, the one making sure this site actually works, loads fast, and doesn’t make you want to pull your hair out. Everything runs smooth so you can focus on learning, not tech glitches.
This site is a glossary of scientific terms made to help you actually understand STEM concepts instead of just memorizing them. I know how annoying it is when you hit a word and think,
Think of me as the person keeping the chaos behind the scenes under control while the team brings the content to life. Scroll, search, and explore without stress—this site is here to make science make sense
Everything on here is giving functional, reliable, and fresh. Period.
Eyylow!! It's your Babygurlll Rhiana!! Your Content Curator, and I provide definitions to some terms that are difficult to understand. I simplify complex meanings so that students life will be easier.
As someone who always encounter science terms that are unfamiliar, I know it's hard to keep on changing and opening too many tabs at once just to search those words. Which is why Scienary existed, its main goal is for you to not be awarded as a person with "Too Many Open Tabs" but rather the "Fastest To Understand Terms".
Think of this as a magical glossary, because even though you scroll less, you still gain more knowledge.
We're chaotic but we assure you our baby Scienary isn't.
Hi! I am Sarah Mae Unajan, your Content Curator, a STEM student with a strong interest in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics. As a learner, I enjoy exploring new ideas, solving problems, and applying what I learn to real-life situations. Being part of the STEM strand helped me develop critical thinking, creativity, and teamwork skills.
This website reflects our knowledge, effort, and passion for learning. Through this platform, we aim to share useful information, ideas, and projects that showcase our growth as students and our dedication to innovation and learning.
Never Stop Learning!
